Mars Area High School students plant 2,977 American flags in the grass along Route 228 in front of the school as part of an annual Young Americau2019s Foundation u201C9/11: Never Forget Project.u201D Each flag represents an individual who died as a result of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
