Several Mars Area High School students competed in the 2025 Butler County Conservation District’s 2025 Butler County Envirothon, held April 29 at Alameda Park.

The team of seniors Zachary Angoff, Logan Balfour and Colin Stevenson and juniors Andy Diaz and Xavier Bossolla earned seventh place in the competition, which tests high school students on their knowledge of several environmental topics, including soil & land use, aquatic ecology, forestry, wildlife, and a current issue.
