Mars Area High School Girls Varsity Soccer Team will take on the Franklin-Regional Panthers in the quarterfinals of the 2017 WPIAL Class 3A Girls Soccer Championship at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26, at Hampton High School (Allison Park, Pa.).

The Lady Planets tamed the Laurel Highlands Mustangs 8-0 in the first round of the WPIAL playoffs on Oct. 23. The team ended the 2017 regular season with an overall record of 13-1-0 and went undefeated (10-0-0) in section play, earning the Section 1-3A title.
