Mars Area High School Marching Band will compete in the 2018 PIMBA (Pennsylvania Interscholastic Marching Band Association) Class 3A Championships, to be held from 4 to 9:45 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27, at Moon Area High School (Moon Township, Pa.)

Gates open at 3 p.m. The marching band will compete against Class 3A bands from Fox Chapel and Gateway. This year’s band show is themed “Between Darkness and Light” and is based on “The Witch and The Saint,” a composition by The New York Pops Orchestra Conductor Steven Reineke.
