Mars Area High School Girls Varsity Volleyball Team will hold its seventh annual “Pink Planet” fundraiser at the team’s home game against the Knoch Knights at 7:15 p.m. (JV at 6 p.m.) on Tuesday, Oct. 9.

The event will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Festivities will include pink-colored concessions; t-shirt ($10) and wristband ($2) sales; a raffle; and more.

In addition, team members will be sporting pink with their uniforms in support of the cause. And, event-goers are also encouraged to wear pink.
