Mars Area High School will issue Parking Permits for the 2018-2019 School Year from 9 to 11:30 a.m. on the following dates:
- Wednesday, July 18 — Vo-Tech Students & Seniors
- Thursday, July 19 — Juniors involved in extracurricular activities or who work immediately after school during the first semester
Students must present a completed Student Parking Application (available online at www.marsk12.org or from 7:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, in the school’s main office); Emergency Authorization Form; Drug Testing Consent Form; a valid driver’s license; vehicle registration; insurance card; and the non-refundable $175 fee for a year-long permit or $87.50 for a semester permit. Parking permits will be granted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
All students are reminded that driving to school is a privilege, not a right. Students may lose this privilege for improper conduct or a violation of the school’s student parking regulations and/or District Policy 223 Use of Motor Vehicles.
