Mars Area High School Girls Varsity Tennis Team will compete in the first round of the 2019 WPIAL Class 3A Girls Varsity Team Tennis Championships at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10, at Fox Chapel Area High School.

The Lady Planets defeated the West Allegheny Indians 3-1 in the preliminary round of the WPIAL playoffs on Oct. 8. The team ended the 2019 regular season with an overall record of 10-3 and 7-3 in Section 2-3A.
