Mars Area School District will offer a Family Math Night from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at Mars Area High School. All District parents and students are welcome to attend.

Representatives of Cengage — Big Ideas Math (Grades 4-12) and Houghton-Mifflin Harcourt, Go Math! (K-3) will offer an overview of the District’s new mathematics curriculum. Presentations from each company will be offered in two sessions — 6 to 6:45 p.m. and 7 to 7:45 p.m.

In addition, several District teachers will also offer an Interactive Math Zone to demonstrate how the new resources can engage students and make problem solving fun for students.
