Mars Area High School Boys Varsity Football Team will take on the Peters Township Mighty Indians in the first round of the 2019 WPIAL Class 5A Boys Football Championship at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, at Peters Township High School (McMurray, Pa.)

The Fightin’ Planets ended the 2019 regular season with an overall record of 6-4 and 4-3 in Section 3-5A of the Northern Conference.

Tickets for the WPIAL playoff game are $7 for adults and $5 for students and will be available for purchase in the Mars Area High School Athletic Office through Friday, Nov. 2, or online at https://gofan.co/app/events/70983. All tickets at the gate are $7.
