Mars Area High School Girls Varsity Soccer Team will take on the Plum Mustangs in the 2019 WPIAL Class 3A Girls Soccer Championship Final at noon on Saturday, Nov. 2, at Highmark Stadium.
Note: Umbrellas are NOT permitted in Highmark Stadium. In the event of inclement weather, game attendees are encouraged to wear ponchos or other rain gear. Highmark Stadium also has a Clear Bag Policy. For details, visit http://highmarkstadium.com.
The Lady Planets licked the Belle Vernon Leopards 2-0 in the WPIAL semifinals on Oct. 28; tamed the Thomas Jefferson Jaguars 7-0 in the WPIAL quarterfinals on Oct. 24; and, topped the Trinity Hillers 7-0 in the first round of the WPIAL playoffs on Oct. 21. The team ended the 2019 regular season with an overall record of 14-0-1 and went undefeated (14-0) in section play, earning the Section 1-3A title.
