Mars Area School District will hold ImPACT Baseline computer-based concussion testing for student-athletes participating in winter sports, Nov. 19-25 in the schools’ respective computer labs.
All student-athletes entering Grades 7, 9 & 11 are required to submit to testing as well as any student who has not received a baseline test in the past. Schedule is as follows:
- Tuesday, Nov. 19 — Boys Varsity/JV Basketball and Coed Varsity Swimming #1, 4 p.m.; Girls Varsity/JV Basketball, Boys Varsity Wrestling and Boys Ninth Grade Basketball, 5 p.m.;
- Wednesday, Nov. 20 — Boys Seventh/Eighth Grade Wrestling, 3 p.m.; Coed Varsity Swimming #1, 6 p.m.
- Thursday, Nov. 21 — Boys Seventh/Eighth Grade Basketball, 3 p.m.; Girls Seventh/Eighth Grade Basketball, 4:30 p.m.
- Monday. Nov. 25 — Coed Varsity Diving and All Sports Make-up Testing, 3 p.m.
Student-athletes are asked to arrive 10 to 15 minutes before the scheduled time. Testing will be administered and supervised by the District’s athletic trainers.
