Mars Area High School Girls Varsity Soccer Team will take on the Warren Area Dragons in first round of the 2019 PIAA Class 3A Girls Soccer Championship at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5, at North Allegheny Senior High School.

The Lady Planets earned the 2019 WPIAL Class 3A Girls Soccer Championship Title, defeating the Plum Mustangs 4-0 in the final game of the WPIAL playoffs on Nov. 2. The team bested the Belle Vernon Leopards 2-0 in the WPIAL semifinals on Oct. 28; tamed the Thomas Jefferson Jaguars 7-0 in the WPIAL quarterfinals on Oct. 24; and, topped the Trinity Hillers 7-0 in the first round of the WPIAL playoffs on Oct. 21.

The team ended the 2019 regular season with an overall record of 14-0-1 and went undefeated (14-0) in section play, earning the Section 1-3A title.
