Mars Area High School Girls Varsity Basketball Team will take on the Woodland Hills Wolverines in the first round of the 2018-2019 WPIAL Class 5A Girls Basketball Championship at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 19, at Hampton High School (Allison Park, Pa.).

The Lady Planets ended the 2018-2019 regular season with an overall record of 17-5 and 8-4 in Section 2-5A play. In 2017-2018, the team won the PIAA Class 5A Girls Varsity Basketball Championship; took fourth place in the WPIAL Class 5A Championship; and tied for the Section 4-5A title.

Tickets for all WPIAL playoff games are $7 for adults and $5 for students and are available for purchase from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Mars Area High School’s Athletic Office. (Note: No student tickets will be sold at the gate.)
