Mars Area High School Girls Varsity Basketball Team will take on the Oakland Catholic Eagles in the quarterfinals of the 2018-2019 WPIAL Class 5A Girls Basketball Championship at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23, at North Hills High School (Pittsburgh, Pa.).

The Lady Planets defeated the Woodland Hills Wolverines 56-50 in the first round of the WPIAL playoffs on Feb. 19. The team ended the 2018-2019 regular season with an overall record of 17-5 and 8-4 in Section 2-5A play.

Tickets for all WPIAL playoff games are $7 for adults and $5 for students and are available for purchase from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Mars Area High School’s Athletic Office. (Note: No student tickets will be sold at the gate.)
