Mars Area High School Girls Varsity Softball Team will take on the Connellsville Area Falcons in the first round of the 2019 WPIAL Girls Varsity Softball Class 5A Championship at 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, at Gateway High School (Monroeville, Pa.).
Note: The playoff game was originally scheduled on May 14, but was rescheduled because of poor field conditions.
The Lady Planets ended the 2019 regular season with an overall record of 7-9 and 7-7 in Section 2-5A play.
