Mars Area High School Boys Varsity Hockey Team will take on the Baldwin Highlanders in the semifinals of the 2020 Pennsylvania Interscholastic Hockey League (PIHL) Class 2A Penguins Cup Playoffs at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, at Robert Morris University Island Sports Complex.

The Fightin’ Planets conquered the Montour Spartans 6-5 in the Penguins Cup Quarterfinals on March 2. The team ended the 2019-2020 regular season with an overall record of 10-8 and 5-1 in the Class 2A Northwest Division. Last season, the team advanced to the first round of the PIHL playoffs.
