The returning PIAA and WPIAL champion Mars Area High School Girls Varsity Soccer Team will take on the Plum Mustangs in the final game of the 2021 WPIAL Class 3A Girls Soccer Championship at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 6, at Highmark Stadium.

The Lady Planets conquered the Montour Spartans 1-0 in the WPIAL semifinals on Nov. 2; grounded the Oakland Catholic Eagles 6-0 in the quarterfinals on Oct. 28; and defeated the Penn Hills Indians 7-0 in the first round on Oct. 25. The team ended the 2021 regular season undefeated with an overall record of 12-0-1 and went undefeated (12-0) in section play, earning the Section 4-3A title.
