Mars Area High School Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team will take on the South Fayette Lions in the semifinals of the 2021 WPIAL Class 2A Boys Varsity Lacrosse Championship at 8 p.m. on Monday, May 24, at Shaler Area High School. 

The Fightin’ Planets tamed Franklin Regional Panthers 29-3 in the first round of the WPIAL playoffs on May 19. The team ended the regular season with an overall record of 16-0 and 8-0 in section play, earning the 2021 Section 2-2A title.
