Mars Area High School students will present the musical, The Drowsy Chaperone, at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 4, and at 1 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, in the auditorium.
The Tony Award-winning show, brings to life music from a cast recording of a fictitious 1928 musical. As the music plays, it becomes intertwined with the stories of two lovers on the eve of their wedding, a bumbling best man, a desperate theatre producer, a not-so-bright hostess, four gangsters posing as pastry chefs, a misguided Don Juan and a “drowsy” chaperone.
TICKETS — Tickets are $12 for reserved seating and are available for purchase online at www.showtix4u.com/events/drowsy.
