Mars Area High School Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team will take on the Quaker Valley Quakers in the final game of the 2022 WPIAL Class 2A Boys Varsity Lacrosse Championship at 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, at Robert Morris University’s Joe Walton Stadium.
The Fightin’ Planets tamed the South Fayette Lions 24-2 in the WPIAL Semifinals on May 23; and toppled the Shaler Area Titans 23-2 in the WPIAL quarterfinals on May 19. The team ended the regular season with an overall record of 17-1 and 10-1 in section play, earning the 2022 Section 2-2A title.
