Mars Area High School Boys Varsity Tennis Team will take on the North Catholic Trojans in the semifinals of the 2022 WPIAL Class 2A Boys Varsity Team Tennis Championships at 3 p.m. on Monday, May 9, at Pine-Richland High School.

The Fightin’ Planets vanquished the Valley Vikings 3-2 in the WPIAL quarterfinals on May 4; and tamed the Carlynton Cougars 5-0 in the first round of the WPIAL playoffs on May 2. The team ended the 2022 regular season with an overall record of 13-1 and went undefeated (8-0) in Section 2-2A.
