Mars Area High School Competition Cheer Team will compete in the annual WPIAL Class 3A Competitive Spirit Championships, to be held from approximately 9 a.m. to 3p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 7, at Hempfield Area High School (Greensburg, Pa.).

The team will compete at approximately 1:20 p.m. in the 3A Small Varsity Division. The Planets will take on teams from Bethel Park, Fox Chapel, Franklin Regional, Mt. Lebanon, North Hills, Oakland Catholic, Pine-Richland, Plum, Seneca Valley, South Fayette, and Thomas Jefferson.

Tickets are $10 per session and may be purchased online at www.gofan.co/wpial. No tickets will be sold at the gate.
