Mars Area High School Marching Band will compete in the 2023 PIMBA ((Pennsylvania Interscholastic Marching Band Association) Championships, to be held from 4:30 to 9:45 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28, at Moon Area High School.

The marching band will compete against Class 2A bands from Baldwin, Deer Lakes, Fox Chapel and Upper St. Clair high schools. The band will take the field at 6:30 p.m.

The band’s 2023-2024 show, titled Oh What Tangled Webs We Weave, includes the songs, “Little Lies” by Fleetwood Mac, “Chant” by Robert Glasper, “Tarantella” by Carmine Coppola, and “Shelob’s Lair” by Howard Leslie Shore.
