Mars Area High School Guidance Office will offer an Information Meeting for parents/guardians of incoming freshmen (current eighth-graders) at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 2.

All eighth grade parents/guardians are encouraged to participate. High school guidance counselors and administrators will explain the various programs and courses that will be available to students in the 2023-2024 School Year as well as the course selection process.

Guidance counselors met with eighth grade students on Jan. 24-25 to discuss and distribute course selection manuals (available online at https://4.files.edl.io/fa28/01/24/23/143606-6b8761a8-59be-47da-8146-9d27e72cc7fb.pdf). Parents/guardians will be asked to refer to the manual at the information meeting on Thursday, Feb. 2.
