Mars Area High School Girls Varsity Basketball Team will take on the Oakland Catholic Eagles in the quarterfinals of the 2022-2023 WPIAL Class 5A Girls Varsity Basketball Championship at 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 24, at North Allegheny Senior High School.

The Lady Planets tamed the Lincoln Park Leopards 56-29 in the first round of the WPIAL playoffs on Feb. 21.  The team ended the 2022-2023 regular season with an overall record of 15-6 and tied for first place in Section 2-5A with a record of 9-3.

Tickets are $5 for students and $7 for adults and may be purchased online at www.gofan.co/wpial. All tickets sold at the gate are $7.
