Mars Area High School JV Hockey Team will take on the Chartiers Valley Colts in the final game of the 2023 PIHL Junior Varsity Tier 3A Tournament at 7:20 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, at Ice Castle Arena (Castle Shannon).

The Fightin’ Planets defeated the Neshannock Lancers 5-2 in the PIHL semifinals on March 22; and topped the Butler Golden Tornados 8-1 in the quarterfinals on March 20. The team finished the regular season with an overall record of 15-1-1 in JV Tier 3 Division 1 competition.
