Mars Area High School Boys Varsity Soccer Team will take on the Bethel Park Black Hawks in the Third-Place Consolation Game of the 2024 WPIAL Class 3A Boys Varsity Soccer Championship at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at Fox Chapel Area High School.
The Fightin’ Planets advanced to the WPIAL Semifinals on Oct. 28; but were defeated 2-1 by the Franklin Regional Panthers. The team broke the Chartiers Valley Colts 1-0 in the WPIAL Quarterfinals on Oct. 23; and thwarted the Penn-Trafford Warriors 4-1 in the first round of the WPIAL playoffs on Oct. 19.
The Planets ended the 2024 regular season with an overall record of 13-1-4 and 9-1-2 in Section 1-3A.
