Mars Area High School Girls Varsity Volleyball Team take on the Beaver Area Bobcats in the semifinals of the 2025 WPIAL Class 3A Girls Volleyball Championship at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 28, at North Allegheny Senior High School.

The Lady Planets tamed the Greensburg Salem Golden Lions 3-2 in the WPIAL quarterfinals on Oct. 23; and licked the Belle Vernon Leopards 3-1 in the first round of the WPIAL playoffs on Oct. 21. The team ended the 2025 regular season with an overall record of 13-4 and 8-1 in section play, earning the Section 2-3A title.
