Mars Area High School Girls Varsity Volleyball Team will take on the Hampton Talbots in the Third-Place Consolation Game of the 2025 WPIAL Class 3A Girls Volleyball Championship at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 30, at North Allegheny Senior High School.

The Lady Planets were defeated 3-1 by the Beaver Area Bobcats in the WPIAL semifinals on Oct. 28. The team tamed the Greensburg Salem Golden Lions 3-2 in the WPIAL quarterfinals on Oct. 23; and licked the Belle Vernon Leopards 3-1 in the first round of the WPIAL playoffs on Oct. 21.

The team ended the 2025 regular season with an overall record of 13-4 and 8-1 in section play, earning the Section 2-3A title.
