Mars Area High School Girls Varsity Volleyball Team will compete in the first round of the 2025 PIAA Class 3A Girls Volleyball Championship on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
Note: The time, location and competitor for the game have yet to be determined.
The Lady Planets earned third place in the 2025 WPIAL Class 3A Girls Volleyball Championship after thwarting the Hampton Talbots 3-1 in the Third-Place Consolation Game on Oct. 30. The team was defeated 3-1 by the Beaver Area Bobcats in the WPIAL semifinals on Oct. 28.
The team tamed the Greensburg Salem Golden Lions 3-2 in the WPIAL quarterfinals on Oct. 23; and licked the Belle Vernon Leopards 3-1 in the first round of the WPIAL playoffs on Oct. 21. The Planets ended the 2025 regular season with an overall record of 13-4 and 8-1 in section play, earning the Section 2-3A title.
