Mars Area High School Girls Varsity Volleyball Team will take on the Beaver Area Bobcats in the quarterfinals of the 2025 PIAA Class 3A Girls Volleyball Championship at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8, at North Allegheny Senior High School.

The Lady Planets slew the Warren Area Dragons 3-0 in the first round of the PIAA playoffs on Nov. 4. The team advanced to the state playoffs after taking third place in the 2025 WPIAL Class 3A Girls Volleyball Championship with a 3-1 win over the Hampton Talbots 3-1 in the Third-Place Consolation Game on Oct. 30.

The Planets were defeated 3-1 by the Beaver Area Bobcats in the WPIAL semifinals on Oct. 28. The team tamed the Greensburg Salem Golden Lions 3-2 in the WPIAL quarterfinals on Oct. 23; and licked the Belle Vernon Leopards 3-1 in the first round of the WPIAL playoffs on Oct. 21.

The Planets ended the 2025 regular season with an overall record of 13-4 and 8-1 in section play, earning the Section 2-3A title.
