Mars Area High School Varsity Hockey Team will take on the Shaler Area Titans in the quarterfinals of the 2025 PIHL (Pennsylvania Interscholastic Hockey League) Class A Penguins Cup Playoffs at 9 p.m. on Monday, March 3, at Baierl Toyota Ice Complex.

The Fightin’ Planets beat the Meadville Bulldogs 9-0 in the Penguins Cup Play-In Round on Feb. 24. The team ended the 2024-2025 regular season with an overall record of 17-3.
