Mars Area School District will commemorate Red Ribbon Week, Monday, Oct. 26, through Friday, Oct. 31, with the following theme days:
- Monday, Oct. 26 — “Your Choices Are the Key to Your Dreams” — wear pajamas
- Tuesday, Oct. 27 — “Do Not Get Tied Up with Drugs” — wear tie dye
- Wednesday, Oct. 28 — “#bethekindkid” — wear #bethekindkid apparel
- Thursday, Oct. 29 — “Our School Chooses to Be Drug Free”— wear Halloween apparel
- Friday, Oct. 30 — “Staying Drug Free is No Sweat” — wear workout / sweat clothes
The purpose of the annual event is to raise awareness about the dangers of drugs and alcohol abuse. For more information, contact the individual school building.
