Three members of Mars Area High School Band were selected by solo audition to perform in the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) Region Band Festival, to be held March 7-9 at New Castle Senior High School (New Castle, Pa.).

Students are seniors Tara Brazel (French horn), Sarah Grimm (clarinet), and Jacob Smith (trombone). Dr. Stephen L. Gage, Director of Bands at Youngstown State University director of bands, will serve as guest conductor.

The event will conclude with a public concert at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, at New Castle Senior High School. Tickets are $5 may be purchased at the door.
