Mars Area sophomore Patricio Beltran is holding a Book Drive to benefit children in need in Central and South America. 

English and Spanish language children’s books as well as coloring books may be dropped off at Mars Area High School main office through Wednesday, July 3. This summer, Beltran and his family will distribute the English books to schools in Costa Rica and Mexico; and the Spanish books will be distributed by Global Links, a medical relief and development organization, to hospitals in resource-poor communities.
