Mars Area High School seniors John Felice and Adrian Zugehar were named Semifinalists in the 2020 National Merit Scholarship Program.

The students placed among the top 16,000 out of 1.5 million high school students who entered the 2020 competition by taking the 2018 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSSQT). All semifinalists are eligible to advance to the level of Finalist, at which they may be considered for a 2020 National Merit Scholarship.
