A team of Mars Area High School students were selected as the winner of the second annual West View Water Authority High School Video Contest.

Senior Alyssa Machi and junior Macy Barshick earned first place and a $1,000 prize for their video, “Water is Everywhere.” The video highlighted the impact that water and water conservation has on a community.

The contest challenges high school students to create videos educating and informing the public on different topics related to the environment, school spirit, or community service.
