Two Mars Area High School students competed in the JAMfest Super Nationals cheerleading competition, held Jan. 18-19 in Indianapolis, Ind.

Junior Ellie Louttit and sophomore Lauren Campion, joined members of the Rockstar Cheer Pittsburgh “Supermodels” team, which earned the second highest score out of more than 65 teams in the Level 6 Worlds Qualifying Division. The team was awarded a paid bid to compete in the International Open Division at the Cheerleading World Championships, to be held April 24-26 in Orlando, Fla.
