Members of Mars Area High School’s Interact Club and Key Club raised $2,240 to benefit Special Olympics Pennsylvania as part of the annual Pittsburgh Polar Plunge, held Feb. 28 at Heinz Field.

More than 60 students and two club advisors jumped into a pool of icy water to benefit the cause. Pittsburgh Cool Schools Challenge and the Pennsylvania State Police sponsors the annual event.
