Mars Area High School is listed among the Top 100 Pennsylvania High Schools, according to rankings released by the U.S. News & World Report.

Mars Area High School is listed as 14th in the Pittsburgh Region; 72nd in the state; and 1,966 in the nation with an overall score of 88.95. The rankings are based on college readiness, math and reading proficiency, math and reading performance, underserved student performance, college curriculum breadth and graduation rate.
