Mars Area High School Student Council collected $1,452.75 to benefit veterans living at St. John Specialty Care Center.

The monies were collected as part of a “Cookies for a Cause” fundraiser, organized by graduate Jenna Sutton (Class of 2020) and held on Saturdays at the Mars Farmers Market.

In 2019, Sutton and her brother, John Sutton (sophomore) were honored by the VFW Auxiliary for their support of local veterans and service to the community.
