Mars Area High School senior Patricio Beltran collected 681 books as part of an annual drive benefit children in need in Central and South America.

The drive collected English and Spanish language children’s books as well as coloring books, which will be distributed to hospitals in resource-poor communities by Global Links, a medical relief and development organization.
