Mars Area High School’s Spanish Club has named its officers for the 2020-2021 School Year.

Officers are Jake Caringola, president; Nate Silsby, vice president; Rylan Farnham, secretary; Sidney Jaeger, treasurer; and, Ethan McMaster, events coordinator.

Spanish Club, which meets bimonthly during the school’s activity period, offers students an opportunity to participate in various cultural activities; Spanish tutoring; after-school movie viewings and celebrations; Trick-or-Treat Night; and an annual breakfast and lottery (based on the Spanish Christmas Lottery). Students also, typically, attend the University of Pittsburgh’s Latin American Festival and join in club nights at Mexican restaurants.
