The team of junior Audrey Milk and freshman Lauren Karg took first place in the Duo Interpretation category, earning a bid toward a spot in the Pennsylvania High School Speech League (PHSSL) State Competition. The students will need to earn two additional bids to qualify for the state event.
Other students, who participated in the regional event, included sophomores Avery Beller and Cole Winstead (Public Forum Debate); sophomore Emma Hannan, freshmen Isabela Montes, and Vivek Dadi (Congressional Debate); and sophomore Piper Empey (Impromptu Speech).
