Mars Area High School juniors Ryan Mitchell and Max Weaver will compete as members of the North Pittsburgh Wildcats 16U Hockey Team at the 2021 USA Hockey-Chipotle Youth Tier II 16U National Championships, to be held April 29-May 3 in Grand Rapids, Mich.

The Wildcats advanced to the national competition, after defeating the Arctic Foxes 3-2 to earn the 2021 Mid-Am District Pennsylvania State Tournament Championship Title on March 26-28.
