On June 1, Mars Area High School held its Class of 2022 Graduation Ceremony & Walk.
Pre-recorded speeches were offered by Dr. Mark Gross, superintendent; Lindsay Rosswog, principal; Sarah Hooper, student speaker*; Luke Smelko, student-selected speaker*; and Sydney Carr and Alexandra Organ, Class of 2022 co-presidents. Other Class of 2022 officers are Kristin Bayuk, vice president; Leana Cuzzocrea, secretary; and Katie Ball, treasurer.
* Mars Area High School does not announce its valedictorian and salutatorian until after the last day of school when all final grades have been tabulated. Therefore, those students who are invited to speak at graduation may not be the valedictorian and salutatorian.
