Mars Area High School’s National Honor Society (NHS) Chapter has elected its officers for the 2021-2022 School Year

Officers are seniors Sarah Hooper (president), Chris Dvorak (secretary), Bella Pellegrino (vice president) and John Fratto (treasurer). NHS is an organization established to recognize outstanding high school students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of leadership, scholarship, service, and character.

NHS is open to sophomores, juniors and seniors with a 3.90 or higher grade point average at the completion of the first nine weeks grading period of the current school year. Interested students must also demonstrate the completion of community service hours; participation and leadership in extracurricular activities; and must submit a personal essay.

Mars Area High School students may inquire about NHS applications in Room 221. The application deadline is 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 7.
