Several members of Mars Area High School’s FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) Chapter placed at the virtual 2021-2022 FBLA Regional Leadership Conference.

Junior Ava Donnelly earned first place in the Journalism event; juniors Ava Balazentis, Kyra Harvey and Taylor Hollern, second place in Entrepreneurship; juniors Ainsley McGee, Jessica McNulty and Alexis Whitworth, second place in International Business; and senior Maxwell Weaver and junior Sophia Maestra, third place in the Business Management event. Each team qualified for the 2021-2022 Pennsylvania FBLA State Leadership Conference, to be held April 11-13.

FBLA is a non-profit educational association of students preparing for careers in business or simply interested in learning more about the American Business Enterprise. The organization aids students in enhancing leadership abilities as well as in preparing for entry into and advancement within a business or business-related occupation.
