Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica is an honor society for high school sophomores, juniors and seniors who are enrolled in Spanish. To be eligible, students must have a minimum of 90 percent in all of their Spanish courses, an average GPA of 3.0; and must commit to complete all four years of the language and to maintain the minimum GPA requirements.

The goal of honor society, which is sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP), is to recognize high school achievement in Spanish and Portuguese and to promote interest in Hispanic and Luso-Brazilian studies.
