Mars Area High School sophomore Declan Abbey has been selected to attend the 2022 Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership Seminar, to be held June 17-19 at Thiel College (Greenville, Pa.).

The program offers high school sophomores, and opportunity to develop their leadership skills and learn how to become effective, ethical leaders in their home, school, workplace and community. Activities typically include a community service project, college fair, panel discussions and team-building activities.
